About the Book:
Chicken soup for the Soul, True Love has 101 Heartwarming and Humorous Stories about Dating, Romance, Love, and Marriage.

Everyone loves a good love story. And we all love stories about how the love started and blossomed. This fun new book about dating, romance, love, and marriage, will make readers laugh and cry, and is guaranteed to inspire a renewed search for that special someone or open the heart a little more to the love already found. Stories of how couples met, when “they knew,” good and bad dates, proposals, maintaining the relationship, second chances, and all the other ups and downs of love, romance, and marriage will entertain, encourage, and warm the hearts of all readers.

My Take:
I LOVE Chicken Soup for the Soul Books. They are perfect to pick up and read when you only have a few minutes during the day because each story takes less than 10 minutes to read. The stories in this particular book are heart warming like all of the other Chicken Soup books, but this one is a collection of short romantic novels, filled with life lessons and and a few laughs! This book will make a great gift for a wedding shower, or anniversary, or for yourself for when you have a few minutes to your self during the day (That is hard for us Moms!).

You can buy Chicken Soup for the Soul: True Love for $10 on amazon new.

This Valentine's Day my husband (of 25 years!) and I were treated to a very special day by our children (Jessi 23, Kassi 20 and Mikey 17). They packed for us a picnic basket with cheese, fruits, french bread, wine, chocolate hearts and a blanket. My husband and I went to our local park and had brunch by the lake. Inside the basket were notes from our kids - one of which stated we were not to return home until 6 P.M. When we got home we were presented with a candlelight dinner of shrimp brushetta, spinach salad, pork loin with asparagus and a heart-shaped red velvet cake. Needless to say, this was the best gift we've ever received!!

For Valentine's Day, I spent it with my daughter and the love of my life. We simply hung around the house and enjoyed each other's company after exchanging small gifts of appreciation for one another.

We usually don't celebrate valentine's day, but this year I woke up at 10am! If that wasen't awesome enough, I found my husband had done laundry, dishes and swept the house! He even made breakfast with the kids!

I spent Valentine's day cursing the eight feet of snow in our driveway as it was the 10th day I've been snowed in and not been able to get out of the house. We've had another foot since then and two more feet forcasted for today and another foot forcasted for this weekend!

I took some candy and a card to my dad who now lives in a retirement home and spent some time with him. I sent my daughter and grandson some Valentine gifts. I sent my grandson one of those books where I recorded myself reading it to him.

    Thank you,
